About Us

ClownTownWhat is Andona? For over fifty years, this volunteer, non-profit organization has raised thousands of dollars from the generous local businesses and residents of the Andover community.  These funds have been distributed to enhance educational, athletic and cultural enrichment programs offered to young people in Andover.  During our prior fiscal year, Andona donated over $50,000 to a variety of causes (see Mission statement below for more details).

How does our funding work? Each year, Andona receives requests from schools and other organizations which are then reviewed by the membership according to need and availability of funds.  We grant fund requests, summer camp opportunities and scholarships.   No request is too small.

How do we raise funds? In addition to sponsoring youth programs and hosting community events like the babysitting course, Andona conducts two major fundraisers each year – one in November and Clown Town in May. The entire Andover community and friends are invited to join us at any or all of these events!

What is our goal? Andona wants to make an impact by supporting the cultural, educational and sports programs geared towards the youth of Andover.  We hope to continue our tradition of supporting youth programs to help our young people learn, grow and achieve.
